With over 45 years of experience, Castelli International School (CIS) is a private primary and lower secondary day school for children ages 5 to 14. It is located a few kilometers south of Rome, in the hills of the Castelli Romani, far from the city smog and surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. English is the language of instruction and the language of the school, spoken by teachers, students and staff members.
The School's green campus includes an outdoor amphitheater, a vegetable garden, a greenhouse, a multi-purpose court (tennis, basketball, volleyball) and 2 artificial turf football pitches. These facilities contribute to offering a wide range of educational and experiential outdoor activities.
One of our major strengths is our well-rooted, hands-on educational philosophy. The natural environment of the school's campus and the multi-purpose facilities promote a holistic and collaborative approach to learning that fosters the students' ability to collaborate and think independently as well as critically.
Our international student body is well prepared to enter local Italian high schools as well as international high schools. Our students then proceed to national and international universities leading to successful career paths.
