Dear Parents,
Welcome to the first Monthly News edition for this school year! It has been a real pleasure to see all the activities, songs, joy and laughter on our campus in these first few weeks of school.
We are delighted to announce that we are launching our new website. There will be a private, password protected MyCastelli section reserved for our parents and students. This private site will be regularly updated with monthly pictures and activities happening on and off campus.
It has been an exhilarating start to the academic year in the elementary school. The children’s excitement at re-entering the school and meeting their friends and teachers again after the summer break, was palpable on the first morning. The opening assembly, which soon followed, included breathing exercises, meditation and discussions about what our aims are for the year - both individually and collectively. It finished off with a very joyous rendition of the school anthem! This set the tone nicely for the feverish activity that has been evident all around the school. The determination and enthusiasm of the children for their work has been very pleasing to see and excitement is already building for the upcoming theme week next month! Before that though, there is the Mini World Cup - a football tournament for children from grades 1-5 (during school hours). It promises to be a colourful, fun occasion with a festival-like atmosphere.
The Middle School students gathered at the sports field for their first assembly, where the students contributed in deciding on the main school rules using the school’s three core values as a guide: Care, Integrity and Sustainability. There has also been great excitement for the House Captain elections for the 3 Middle School houses: Fire, Air and Water. House Events are already being organized, the first ones will be the House Cross Country Run and a charity event for the recent natural disasters in Morocco and Lybia.
We look forward to the Open Houses (see the dates below) when we welcome all the parents to school to meet their children’s teachers.
Overall, the academic year is off to a great start with the promise of many wonderful things to come. A heartfelt thank you to our dynamic and caring team of faculty and staff for all the work they put in for a fantastic start to the new school year! Please see below the events scheduled for September and October.

Abbiamo il piacere di pubblicare la prima edizione del giornalino mensile di quest'anno scolastico! È stato entusiasmante assistere all’avvio di tutte le attività, ed ascoltare i ragazzi riempire nuovamente il nostro campus di canti, di gioia e di risate durante queste prime settimane di scuola.
Inoltre, siamo lieti di annunciare che a breve lanceremo il nuovo sito web della scuola. Ci sarà una sezione MyCastelli privata e protetta da password riservata ai nostri genitori e studenti. Quest’area riservata verrà regolarmente aggiornata di immagini e contenuti relativi alle attività che si svolgono dentro e fuori dal campus.
Per la scuola elementare l’inizio dell'anno scolastico è stato esaltante. L’eccitazione dei bambini all’idea di rientrare a scuola e di incontrare nuovamente i loro amici ed insegnanti dopo la pausa estiva, era subito palpabile fin dal mattino del primo giorno. L'assemblea di apertura, che è seguita subito dopo, prevedeva esercizi di respirazione, meditazione e discussioni su quali siano i nostri obiettivi per il nuovo anno scolastico, sia individualmente che collettivamente. Il tutto si è concluso con una gioiosa interpretazione dell'inno della scuola! Questo ha dato il giusto tono di avvio alle febbrili attività che erano palpabili in tutta la scuola. E’ stato molto piacevole vedere l’impegno e l'entusiasmo dei bambini nello svolgere il loro lavoro, entusiasmo che sta già crescendo in vista per la settimana a tema che si terrà il mese prossimo! Prima però c'è la Mini World Cup, un torneo di calcio per bambini dalla prima alla quinta elementare (durante l'orario scolastico). Si preannuncia un evento colorato e divertente con un'atmosfera tipo festival.
Gli studenti delle Scuole Medie si sono riuniti presso il campo sportivo per la loro prima assemblea, dove gli alunni hanno contribuito a fissare le principali regole da osservare a scuola, utilizzando come guida i tre valori fondamentali della scuola: Premurosità, Integrità e Sostenibilità. Grande fermento anche per le elezioni degli “House Captain” per le 3 “Case” della Scuola Media: Fuoco, Aria e Acqua. Gli House Events sono già in fase di organizzazione, i primi saranno la “House Cross Country Run” e un evento di beneficenza per le recenti catastrofi naturali in Marocco e Libia.
Aspettiamo con impazienza gli Open House (vedi le date sotto) per accogliere tutti i genitori della scuola ed incontrare gli insegnanti dei loro ragazzi.
Nel complesso, l’anno accademico è iniziato alla grande e si annuncia pieno di attività meravigliose.
Un sentito ringraziamento alla nostra dinamica e premurosa squadra di docenti e personale per il fantastico lavoro svolto per avviare il nuovo anno scolastico! Qui di seguito, troverete l’elenco degli eventi in programma per settembre e ottobre.

All'inizio del nuovo anno scolastico i genitori devono compilare e sottoscrivere i seguenti documenti per ciascun alunno iscritto. Una volta compilati i documenti vanno inviati via email al seguente indirizzo: office@castelli-international.it
